Kadhimain Holy Shrine attains first position in Imam Hasan's (AS) National Quranic Competition


Under the guidance of the KHS Secretariat General, a number of reciters of the KHS Holy Quran Center participated in the Imam Hasan's (AS) National Quranic Competition for memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran in the Iraqi and Egyptian styles.
The Competition was held by the Holy Quran Institute / Babylon Governorate branch, affiliated with the Holy Quran Academy of the Abbas Holy Shrine.
The competition was attended by a number of reciters from (15) Iraqi governorates, while from the Kadhimain Holy Shrine, the reciter Qasim Ali Qasim participated in the Egyptian recitation style, the reciter Baqir A. Sahar in the Iraqi recitation style, and the memorization was represented by the Hafiz, Ali Qasim Khalifah, one of the students of the KHS Qur'anic courses. Meanwhile, reciter Baqir Ahmed Sahar took the first position in the Iraqi recitation style.
At the conclusion of the competition, the participating delegation praised the organizers' efforts, emphasizing the need for more Quranic events in order to open new doors for collaboration and communication that would benefit the Quranic movement.
