On Thursday 30th of Thil-Qia’da, 1443 AH, i.e. 30 June 2022, the Secretariat General of Kadhimain Holy Shrine issued a statement at the conclusion ceremonies of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Jawad (AS).
At the beginning of the statement, the Secretariat General offered its heartfelt condolences to the master of the Time Imam Al-Mahdi (ATF), our Grand Religious Authorities, and the entire Islamic world and mankind, on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Muhammad Al-Jawad (AS).
The Secretariat General indicated that it had mobilized all its staff and volunteers who had the honor to take part in the Ziyarat, to carry out their responsibilities, in cooperation with the religious, security, health institutions, and NGOs to receive the masses of visitors who came to commemorate this sad event.
All praise be to Allah, the visitation was a success thanks to these combined efforts, we were able to overcome all obstacles to keep the security and smooth going of movement of visitors to get into and out of the Holy Place.
The KHS Secretariat General stated that the visitors were estimated to be 4 million on the day of commemoration and during the few preceding days, while the volunteers (Males & females) who participated in the event were around (2450), (1250) of them were spread within the Holy Shrine, and (1200) others were spread all over Baghdad and on the roads leading to Kadhimiya, along with 70 pressmen to cover and broadcast the event live.
At the end of the statement, Secretariat General expressed its deep gratitude to the Supreme Religious Authority represented by his Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayed Ali Sistani, Presidency of Shiite Endowment Diwan, Hawza scholars, security forces, mobilization forces, and other supporting forces, besides the volunteers who contributed a lot to maintaining safe and secure conditions for the visitors.
Thanks are due to the Iraqi government, all of the participating ministries, and the NGOs for all that they did to make the visit a success.
It also appreciated the cooperation of Kadhimiya citizens, Husaini Mawakibs, and the efforts of media community and satellite channels for their participation in transmitting this great event; as well as the servants of the Holy Shrine who were honored to receive and serve the visitors, and the visitors themselves for following the instructions and disciplines of the visit.
