Coinciding with the martyrdom anniversary of the elder grandson of the Holy Prophet (SAAWA), Imam Hasan Mujtaba (AS), the Cultural Seminar of Al-Jawadain Library held its 126th cultural seminar entitled: (The reformist role of Imam Hasan Mujtaba (AS) in society). It was attended by a number of researchers, academic and intellectual personalities.
The seminar was started with reciting verses of the Holy Quran, followed by a research paper presented by Dr. Tha’er Al-Bussaisi, a researcher, who touched upon the part played by Imam Hasan Mujtaba (AS) and his encounter with the most perilous period in Islamic history when the Umayyads sought to use the influence of money, media, and intimidation to control and subjugate society, and eradicating the elements of the true religion, which is represented by the thoughts and the path of the Holy Prophet and His Immaculate Progeny.
The seminar was also enriched with the questions and discussions of the audience.
