A delegation from Kadhimain Holy Shrine headed by Eng. Saad M. Hasan, the KHS Deputy Secretary General, participated in the Conference of Holy Shrines and sanctuaries (Meeting of Secretaries General), which was hosted by the Secretariat General of Imam Ali Holy Shrine, in the presence of Dr. Haider H. Al-Shammari, the President of Shiite Endowment Diwan, and the Secretaries General of the Holy Shrines and Sanctuaries in the Islamic World.
The meeting began with a speech by the president of the Shiite Endowment Diwan, who stated: “The holy shrines have become a station for culture and knowledge. They are not just places of worship, but also centres of intellectual radiation dedicated to reviving the command of the Holy Prophet Muhammad and His immaculate Progeny, stemming from the saying of Imam Sadiq (AS): “Keep our message ever alive. May God have mercy on whoever keeps it alive”. Therefore, it is our collective responsibility to combat the cultural invasion that targets our children and women.
He also added that “We must take responsibility and mobilize our efforts in the name of righteousness and reform.”
Following that, the conferees addressed the Holy Shrines and Sanctuaries’ affairs in order to accomplish the best performance, put Ahlulbayt's (AS) aims into action and embodying their words and deeds.
